CROSS FIT TEENS

This is a program our GLBC Teen Group utilizes to foster opportunities for fellowship through weekly Sunday School lessons, weekly Wednesday evening meetings, and monthly activities; foster opportunities for growth through accountability partners to encourage spiritual growth in the Lord; and foster intentional situations intended for gaining experience in serving the Lord.

Gospel Light Christian School

Gospel Light Christian School was founded in 1972 with grades 1-6 as a ministry to educate our children in a Christian environment, with Christian values, and with a Christ-centered curriculum.

Today, with an enrollment of over 450 students, that tradition continues with classes from 3-year-old kindergarten through the 12th grade and a high school diploma recognized by the State of North Carolina.

We feature traditional classrooms with most of our curriculum coming from ABeka Book and Bob Jones Press.  A number of elective activities are also offered including computer, music, chorus, band, art, drama, and sports.

More information on our school can be received by stopping by, clicking the link, or calling the school office at 336.722.6100.

Gospel Light Christian Camp

Brother Bobby Roberson’s vision of helping young people find direction in life became a reality in 1972. Gospel Light Baptist Church purchased Camp Virginian, a 139 1/2  acre camp the next year. God has used this ministry to make a difference in the lives of many young people. Our camp is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains outside the town of Hillsville, VA.

GLCC was founded with the goal of helping churches with evangelism and discipleship by helping juniors and teens grow in Christ in a Christian camp setting built on sound doctrine.

More information on our camp can be received by clicking the link or calling the church office at 336.722.9700.

Iglesia Bautista Luz del Evangelio

The Gospel Light Spanish Church was organized in 1990. Our Spanish Ministry began in the mid-80’s as a small class. It later moved to our GLCS music room and in early 2000, our first church building was renovated to accommodate a growing Spanish work. In 2008, we had an opportunity to purchase the Faith Baptist Church property on Waughtown Street in Winston-Salem. After renovations, our Spanish Church moved to that location in September 2008. Our Spanish Church also provides Sunday School classes for all ages.

MASTER CLUBS

Master Clubs is a curriculum-based discipleship ministry for 3-year-olds through 6th grade that utilizes verse memorization, citizenship projects, doctrinal lessons, and various weekly activities. We meet weekly at 7 pm.

REFORMERS UNANIMOUS

We invite you to join us for this nationally recognized program to help people who are struggling with the chains of addiction.

We meet each Friday night from 7:00 to 9:00 for help and encouragement to win the war over drugs, alcohol, pornography, gambling, marriage problems, and more!

An entire support system is in place to help you and your family live a changed, Christ-centered life.

Bus Ministry

Each Sunday morning over twenty buses start their engines to go out into the communities that surround Walkertown to bring boys, girls, teenagers, and adults to church.

For over 50 years, faithful members of Gospel Light have spent Saturday mornings and afternoons canvassing neighborhoods to find people wanting a way to get to church. Sunday mornings and afternoons are spent picking up and then dropping off hundreds of bus riders.

While the traditional “Bus Ministry” is seen as being out-of-date, each Sunday’s crowds are a testimony to the faithfulness of God to bless those who go out “into the highways and hedges” to bring souls into the house of God.

Each year, hundreds of people come to trust Jesus Christ as their Savior through the bus ministry of Gospel Light Baptist Church.
